The High-Speed (HS) Impact system provides safety engineers impact data from surfaces, as well as passive and active restraints during crash tests.

Motor vehicle deaths approach 40K each year in the US alone. Until now, the automotive industry has never had the ability to measure impact pressure at high resolutions and speeds. Acquiring accurate data during impacts requires fast and responsive sensors and powerful software tools.

HIGH-RESOLUTION VEHICLE IMPACT TESTING

High-Speed (HS) Impact System

HS Impact provides unprecedented analysis and detail on surface pressures during and after sudden impacts, allowing engineers to isolate issues and add effective solutions they can measure and repeat. The data logger attaches to crash sleds and triggers remotely for repeated testing.

POWERFUL Software

Capture and analyze product performance throughout the impact.

The software allows you to view live or post-process and analyze data. Recordings trigger remotely and synchronize with other high-speed data acquisition devices allowing you to view pressure throughout the impact, see product performance throughout the impact scenario, and compare designs and modifications.

Specifications & Performance

XSENSOR's high-speed sensors provide accurate, consistent measurement and are capable of withstanding the vibration and shocks during normal use in crash test applications.

For test engineers, the proven calibration stability leads to consistent data over repeated cycles, which means reduced re-calibration frequency and higher equipment availability.

HX impact sensors contain thousands of sensing points that are sampled between 2,000 and 5,000 frames per second.

Rugged data logger comes ready to mount to crash sleds and has programmable remote trigger options for repeated testing procedures.

Impact sensors are thin and conformable, with a fast response rate and are available in a range of sizes and pressure ranges.

All data is consistent and repeatable on a cell-by-cell basis so you can capture exactly what happens during and after an impact.
