X3 Pro systems enable human factors designers to reveal surface performance data used to improve the comfort, safety, and usability of products.

Validating safety comfort and durability of products like automotive seats, hand tools, medical devices, and sports equipment require accurate repeatable interface measurements. Without quality test data, product performance can be compromised resulting in premature material failure or possible product recalls.

Overview

IMPROVE SEATING DESIGN

X3 Pro Seating System

The X3 Pro Seating system provides detailed interface pressure measurements on seat and back surfaces to inform the design process.

State-of-the-art LX sensors are the industry standard providing accurate, reliable data without the need to recalibrate. Designers can quantify seating performance with outstanding repeatability for ingress/egress, durability, and comfort testing.

Specifications & Performance

State-of-the-art LX-series seating and ergonomics sensors provide the accuracy and repeatability needed to make confident product design decisions.

Ultra-thin and conformable, our sensors ensure seating designers are able to capture every detail in comfort evaluations, design verification, and ingress/egress modeling.

When it comes to evaluating ergonomics like comfortable user interactions, injury prevention, and improving performance, the sensors provide the means to quantify human interaction.

LX-series sensors are accurate within 3% or less full-scale error after 100,000 loading cycles making them ideal for long duration or life cycle testing like seat ingress and egress.

Durable LX sensors are ultra-thin at under 1 mm, flexible, and conform to surfaces with minimal interference.

Sensor calibration is optimized for the application with multiple ranges between 0.1 ot 32 psi.

Customize your system with multiple sensors for synchronized data on several contact points like seat and backrest — or contact us for bespoke sensor design and configurations like load carrying assessment for backpacks.
