How Does Pressure Imaging Work?

Pressure imaging helps mattress retailers direct their customers through the mattress purchasing cycle:

Pressure Imaging in Mattress Retailers Cycle
1. ASSESS: Sales representative engages customers to understand their current situation and unique needs. This includes sleep position preferences, budget, and other key factors.

2. SELECT: Sales representative identifies a select number of mattresses that meets the considerations identified during the initial assessment.

3. PROFILE: The customer lies down on each of the selected mattresses and a pressure profile is taken on each one. XSENSOR's system captures the customer’s different sleep preferences on each mattress including back, stomach, and side positions.

4. COMPARE: The customer can compare up to 6 mattresses in the store. Pressure profiles taken on each mattress are compared and ranked based on peak pressures and contact area (mattress support).

5. RECOMMEND: Sales representative uses the pressure profile results to help customers select a better mattress.

6. CLOSE: Seeing is believing. Customers are confident they have found a mattress that is right for them. They are more likely to make up their minds without shopping around and feel good about their purchase.
